The ARDN has teamed up with Dr. Darren Christensen, an addictions researcher from the University of Lethbridge, who is working on a study of treatments for gambling addiction and problem gambling in rural settings. The ARDN is helping to connect Dr. Christensen with rural clients through our community connections. This will help people in rural areas struggling with gambling issues to access free counselling opportunities, while allowing Dr. Christensen to better understand the gambling problem in rural settings and improve treatments.
