Virtual Exhibit: Awareness Builds Connection in Dementia Friendly Communities

The Rural Development Network's Awareness Builds Connection in Dementia Friendly Communities (ABCD) project team, along with the five ABCD pilot communities in rural Alberta, will be sharing stories about their journey toward becoming dementia-inclusive.

Whether you are someone living with dementia, a care partner/giver, a professional working in areas related to dementia, or are curious about health and wellness in rural communities, we invite you to join us on Wednesday, March 29th to:

  • View a documentary-style short film highlighting each community's dementia-inclusive initiatives;
  • Engage in a live Q and A with the ABCD project team and communities; and
  • Get first access to the dementia-inclusive step-by-step guides.

This initiative has been made possible through a financial contribution from the Public Health Agency of Canada. The views expressed herein do not necessarily represent the views of the Public Health Agency of Canada.
