The Opportunity: The Rural Development Network is seeking a Program Manager to join the Homelessness team. Part of our work includes distributing the federal government’s Reaching Home funding for all of rural Alberta, to organizations that address homelessness in their communities. The Program Manager reports to the Director, Homelessness Initiatives, and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Reaching Home program. The Program Manager will primarily be assisting with reviewing applications, financial claims, activity reports, and project data/reporting from the organizations to whom RDN distributes this funding. The successful candidate will be committed to developing a strong understanding of the work, goals and objectives of the Reaching Home program. This position requires occasional travel; the candidate must be willing to travel to Edmonton occasionally and may be required to visit rural communities.
This is a temporary, full time, 1 year position until April 2024, with a strong possibility of extension.
Location: The RDN office is located in Edmonton. Although we are working remotely, the ideal candidate must live in Alberta. Please indicate in your cover letter where you are located.
Salary Range: The starting salary range is between $58,433- $61,400/year based on a 35 hour work week. Salary will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
